Developing insights and strategy around the future of design in relation to technology, industry and society, with a focus on digital innovation
I teach Creative Industries theory and practice in the School of Arts and Creative Industries at London South Bank University. I have taught, lectured or tutored on design at higher education institutions including the Royal College of Art, Central Saint Martins College of Art & Design (part of University of the Arts London), Brunel University, Plymouth University, De Montfort University, the University of Reading, and the University of Teeside.
I have written for publications including BBC News Online, Blueprint magazine, the RSA Journal, the journal Eye, I.D. (US), New Media Creative, Create Online, Graphics International (which became Grafik). I am the author of ‘What is Web Design?’ (RotoVision).
